According to ASCAP, the honor \u201crecognizes inspiring women in the music community, honoring songwriters, artists and executives including managers, attorneys, label executives and music publishers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis event is so special to us. Over the past 16 years, ASCAP Women Behind the Music has given us a platform to celebrate exemplary women and their incredible achievements as leaders in the music industry,\u201d says Nicole George-Middleton, ASCAP\u2019s senior vice president of membership and ASCAP Foundation executive director.<\/p>\n

George-Middleton continues, \u201cWe are so proud to recognize the women who have made such a
\nprofound impact through their leadership and art, and we hope to empower the next generation to do the same.\u201d
\nIn addition to Jones, other honorees this year include Emmy-winning composer Amanda Jones and Autumn Rowe, a Grammy-winning songwriter and advocate.<\/p>\n

No announcement has been made about who will salute the women at the ceremony. However, George-Middleton will present and congratulate the 2024 recipients, presented by ASCAP Rhythm & Soul department.<\/p>\n

In October, Jones collaborated with Future and London on da Track on the \u201cMost Beautiful Design,\u201d also the third song release leading up to her first full-length project, slated for a 2025 arrival.
\n\u201cI\u2019ve always been a fan of rap and R&B duets, so being able to modernize that format alongside Future \u2013 a rapper with such longevity and years of success in the game, is so exciting to me,\u201d said Jones of her collaboration with Future and London on da Track.
\nJones added, \u201c\u2018Most Beautiful Design\u2019 is the space London on da Track discovered where both of our worlds collide and we get to find common ground as, rapper and singer, and as man and woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the course of 2024, Jones shared two other songs, \u201cSweep It Up,\u201d and \u201cHere We Go (Uh Oh).\u201d The latter track landed in May and has since then hit No. 7 on Billboard\u2019s Adult R&B Airplay chart \u2013 her second top 10 hit as a lead artist.<\/p>\n

Regarding the song\u2019s inspiration, Coco Jones exclusively told Rated R&B, \u201cI think the music inspired the song concept because I feel like with the sample, it feels like this orchestra and like a mystery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
