Signal failures caused major disruption for Kent’s rail passengers on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Severe delays and cancellations to and from London Victoria began shortly before 06:30 GMT due to multiple faults and engineering work.<\/p>\n

Southeastern said its services resumed at 17:30 but added that services remained disrupted across its network and could be cancelled at short notice.<\/p>\n

Dartford, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Ashford International and Dover Priory routes were all affected by the line closure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Trains from Dartford to London Victoria were being diverted to London Cannon Street.<\/p>\n

The Sevenoaks to London Victoria line was only running to and from Orpington.<\/p>\n

Tonbridge trains were stopping at Bromley South while the Margate line had an additional stop at Swanley.<\/p>\n

Ashford International via Paddock Wood trains were continuing to run, however, Ashford International via Maidstone East was terminating at Swanley.<\/p>\n

Southeastern said passengers could use their ticket at no extra cost on their high speed services as well as London Underground and London buses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
