As the newly crowned WSX champion, Tomac is eyeing a return to AMA Supercross dominance, a title he has won twice before. In 2022, he was on the brink of clinching it again until an Achilles tendon rupture at his home round in Denver abruptly ended his campaign.<\/p>\n<p>At 32, Tomac reflected on his age: \u201cWhen I was young and green at 17, I\u2019d see 30-year-old guys and think, \u2018Wow, they\u2019re old.\u2019 But now that I\u2019m here, I realize this is prime time. With all the knowledge and experience I\u2019ve gained, this feels like the moment to shine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tomac didn\u2019t shy away from naming his main rival. \u201cJett Lawrence is obviously the biggest target\u2014he\u2019s the one everyone is gunning for. You\u2019ve got to beat Jett. Beyond him, it\u2019s a toss-up until racing starts.
