Today, Apple was recognized with nine nominations across four programs for the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, with top category nominations including Best Drama for the darkly funny spy series \u201cSlow Horses\u201d and Best Limited Series for acclaimed thriller \u201cDisclaimer,\u201d alongside outstanding performance nominations for Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden in \u201cSlow Horses\u201d; Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline in \u201cDisclaimer\u201d; Jason Segel and Harrison Ford in \u201cShrinking\u201d; and Jake Gyllenhaal in \u201cPresumed Innocent.\u201d The winners will be revealed on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

In addition to a nomination for Best Television Series and Drama, Emmy Award-winning hit \u201cSlow Horses\u201d earns a Best Performance nod for lead Oldman, his second Golden Globe nomination for \u201cSlow Horses\u201d in this category, alongside a Best Performance by a Supporting Actor nomination for Lowden. These follow Emmy and BAFTA Award nominations for their outstanding performances as the beloved, irascible Jackson Lamb (Oldman) and Slough House favorite River Cartwright (Lowden), among many other honors for the series.<\/p>\n

Globally acclaimed Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n thriller \u201cDisclaimer\u201d lands Best Performance and Limited Series nominations for Academy Award-winning stars Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline for their riveting turns in the gripping drama as Catherine Ravenscroft and her nemesis Stephen Brigstocke. These nominations follow recent recognition from the Critics Choice Awards with four nominations, including Best Limited Series and best performances for Blanchett, Kline and Leila George.<\/p>\n

Celebrated hit comedy \u201cShrinking\u201d earns a Best Performance, Musical or Comedy nomination for star Jason Segel, his second Golden Globe nod in this category for his performance as Jimmy in the series, as Harrison Ford lands a Best Performance in a Supporting Role nomination for his turn as Paul, which also marks his first Golden Globe nomination in a television category. These are the latest accolades for the series following nods from the Emmy Awards, Critics Choice Awards and the WGA, among many others.<\/p>\n

Apple\u2019s widely hailed \u201cPresumed Innocent\u201d scores a Best Performance in a Drama nod for lead Jake Gyllenhaal as Rusty Sabich, which follows a recent nomination for co-star Ruth Negga by the Film Independent Spirit Awards.<\/p>\n

These nominations mark Apple\u2019s most recent recognition from the Golden Globe Awards, following Lily Gladstone\u2019s groundbreaking win earlier this year for \u201cKillers of the Flower Moon\u201d and Paul Walter Hauser\u2019s Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series win for \u201cBlack Bird\u201d in 2023. To date, Apple Original films, documentaries and series have earned 535\u00a0wins and 2,402\u00a0award nominations and counting, including multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy \u201cTed Lasso\u201d and historic Oscar Best Picture winner \u201cCODA.\u201d<\/p>\n

          \u201cDisclaimer\u201d is a gripping psychological thriller in seven chapters, starring Academy Award winners Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline. Written and directed by five-time Academy Award winner Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n, \u201cDisclaimer\u201d is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Ren\u00e9e Knight. Acclaimed journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett) built her reputation revealing the misdeeds and transgressions of others. When she receives a novel from an unknown author, she is horrified to realize she is now the main character in a story that exposes her darkest secrets.<\/p>\n

          As Catherine races to uncover the writer\u2019s true identity, she is forced to confront her past before it destroys her life and her relationships with her husband Robert (Sacha Baron Cohen) and their son Nicholas (Kodi Smit-McPhee).           \u201cPresumed Innocent\u201d is an eight-episode limited series starring and executive produced by Jake Gyllenhaal, hailing from David E. Kelley and executive producer J.J. Abrams and is based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Scott Turow. Starring Gyllenhaal in the lead role of chief deputy prosecutor Rusty Sabich, the series takes viewers on a gripping journey through the horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney\u2019s office when one of its own is suspected of the crime. The series explores obsession, sex, politics, and the power and limits of love, as the accused fights to hold his family and marriage together. The star-studded ensemble cast of the thriller also includes Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, Elizabeth Marvel, Peter Sarsgaard, O-T Fagbenle and Renate Reinsve.<\/p>\n
