Elijah Dotson\u2019s name has already been part of one of the more interesting recruiting stories of recent years. The Detroit-area defensive back emerged from Belleville High School as a highly regarded four-star prospect before ultimately signing with Michigan. He later entered the transfer portal and joined Missouri, where he is currently listed on the Tigers\u2019 roster.<\/p>\n

Dotson was a standout at Belleville, where his versatility made him an attractive prospect for major college programs. He was capable of contributing in the secondary while also making an impact on offense and special teams. During his junior season at Detroit Jesuit, he recorded 66 tackles and three interceptions while also producing significant numbers as a receiver and returner.<\/p>\n

He followed that performance with three tackles against Kansas.<\/p>\n
