Jeremy Clarkson\u00a0has addressed his followers after word got out that his hit\u00a0Diddly Squat farm shop would be temporarily shutting up shop.<\/p>\n

Following the launch of Clarkson’s Farm in 2020, enthusiasts have been flocking to Diddly Squat farm, seeking out the experience for themselves. Before he embarked on his latest pub venture, Clarkson sent a clear message to fans expecting to pop by: “But PLEASE use the main roads.”<\/p>\n

There has been a history of parking headaches in the area, with vehicles often left on both sides of the verges, restricting the flow of traffic. Recently Jeremy confirmed the closure of the farm shop at Diddly Squat farm would be closed until March but he has now issued an update.<\/p>\n

The ex-Top Gear star, who ventured into farming with the debut of his Prime Video series, shared an update on social media platform X, previously known as Twitter: “While it’s true that the farm shop at Diddly Squat is closed as usual until March, the farm shop at the Farmer’s Dog is very much open. Every day apart from Mondays and Tuesdays. You can grab a burger too and a pint.”<\/p>\n

Clarkson’s new haunt, The Farmer’s Dog, opened its doors on Friday 23 August and takes pride of place in Burford, Oxfordshire, a stone’s throw away from the famed Diddly Squat farm. In addition to opening news, there’s buzz about Jeremy Clarkson’s takeover of the local Coach and Horses pub, positioned right across from his own Hawkstone Brewery, at the commencement of 2024.<\/p>\n

The Cotswold District Council has recently approved a new premises licence for The Coach and Horses, allowing live music to be played outdoors until 9pm and the sale of alcohol seven days a week from 11am until 11pm. As reported by the BBC, the pub required an investment of \u00a3750,000 due to its ‘poor state’ including a ‘hole in the roof’.<\/p>\n

During a licensing meeting in February, the pub’s agent expressed a desire for a new tenant, reports\u00a0the Express.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/figcaption>Subsequently, Jeremy Clarkson purchased the inn for less than \u00a31 million, with plans to feature it in his popular series, Clarkson’s Farm. The upcoming fourth series will depict Jeremy taking on the role of a pub landlord and the challenges that come with it.<\/figure>\n

The outdoor area of the pub has been entirely revamped, complete with a new canopy and over 20 picnic tables for patrons to enjoy their drinks outside.<\/p>\n
