Sir Anthony Hopkins watched Dutch violinist Andre Rieu bring the waltz he wrote as a nineteen-year-old to life in Vienna’s famed Belverdere Palace.Hopkins, who starred in Silence of the Lambs, and his wife Stella Arroyave attended the debut of the piece, And The Waltz Goes On, which received ecstatic praise.
Sir Anthony is widely regarded as one of the best screen actors of his generation, having lit up the screen in films such as Silence of the Lambs, Shadowlands, and Nixon; however, it is less well known that he is also a talented composer who devotes much of his time to writing music.
