MotoGP legend and two-time world champion, Casey Stoner shared his unique approach to racing in the Ducati Diaries podcast. Unlike other notable riders like Valentino Rossi, known for his charisma and his theatrics off the track, Stoner has always kept a low profile.
The Australian explained that he never felt the need to play a role to attract attention: ” maybe i should have been that fake person who clowned around to get attention. but i was never like that“

To Stoner, the essence of MotoGP was in the competition itself, without the need to create a spectacle off the track. I just wanted to run. I wanted to entertain, but not because you wanted me to. There is already enough entertainment in what we do and how we run.“
