Meanwhile, the Chiefs are linked to Pyramids FC’s highly rated attacker Fiston Mayele. According to recent sources, Amakhosi is set to offer R20 million for the Congolese sensation.

The Chiefs recently conducted their annual awards ceremony for youth teams. The club revealed the best goal scorers, players of the season, and players’ players of the season for the age groups under 12 and 19.

“Kaizer Chiefs concluded another successful season for the Club’s young development teams, which participate yearly in the SAFA Gauteng Development League, with an awards ceremony at the Village on Tuesday to celebrate outstanding individual performances during the campaign. The U13s romped to the league title, winning the 34-game season by a comfortable eight-point margin and losing only once in their unrelenting march to the championship.

Lebohang Dhlamini was named Players’ Player of the Season for the U19 Chiefs team, who finished third in the GDL division. The team’s impressive accomplishments showcased potential future stars.
