NORMAN — Oklahoma Baseball announced the team’s full 2025 schedule Tuesday, a 54-game slate highlighted by OU’s inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference and 31 home games at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
Oklahoma opens the season Feb. 14-16 in Norman as the Sooners host Lehigh for a three-game series. It marks the third time in the last five years the program has opened the season at home. The Sooners follow up the home-opening series with a trip to the familiar Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, for a midweek matchup vs. UT Arlington on Feb. 19.
Announced in July was OU’s inclusion in the 2025 installment of the Karbach Round Rock Classic. The Sooners meet Minnesota, Oregon State and 2024 CWS participant Virginia, Feb. 21-23, at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. It marks the second time in the last five years OU has participated in the event.
The Sooners return to Norman for a set of non-conference series, hosting Texas Southern (Feb. 25-26) and CSU-Northridge (Feb. 28-March 2) before a midweek matchup at Dallas Baptist (March 4).
Oklahoma welcomes Sam Houston for a three-game series March 7-9 and Louisiana Tech for a Wednesday meeting on March 12 before entering SEC play.
Oklahoma is scheduled to meet eight conference foes in 2025 that made the 2024 NCAA tournament, including two Super Regional teams and one opponent that competed in Omaha at the College World Series a season ago.
OU starts its league slate with a series at South Carolina, March 14-16, traveling to Columbia, S.C., for the first time since 2012.
The Sooners meet UTA for the second time in 2025 on March 18, this time hosting the Mavericks in Norman for a midweek contest.
The conference home opener will take place March 21-23 against Mississippi State, the Bulldogs’ first trip to Norman in program history.
Between conference series, OU faces 2024 NCAA Norman Regional participant Oral Roberts in Tulsa on March 25.
Oklahoma heads to Tuscaloosa, Ala., March 28-30 to face Alabama before a midweek matchup vs. former conference foe Texas Tech on April 1 at a location to be determined.
LSU comes to Norman for the first time in school history, April 4-6, before OU’s second matchup of the season with DBU in Norman on April 8. The Sooners host Vanderbilt the following weekend, April 11-13, marking the first trip to Mitchell Park for the Commodores.
April 15 marks the only Bedlam matchup of the 2025 season as OU meets Oklahoma State in Stillwater on a Tuesday night.
OU plays back-to-back road series at Missouri (April 17-19) and Georgia (April 25-27). Between the two conference sets is a midweek vs. Oral Roberts in Norman on April 22.
The series between OU and Mizzou will be the first meeting among the two schools as conference foes since 2012 when the Tigers were members of the Big 12. The set at UGA marks the first meeting with the Bulldogs in program history.
Wichita State comes to Norman on April 29 for OU’s final non-conference matchup of the season before the Sooners welcome Ole Miss to Mitchell Park, May 2-4, for a rematch of the 2022 CWS Championship Series.
OU closes its conference road slate with a series at 2024 CWS participant Kentucky, May 9-11, before closing the regular season with the Red River Rivalry as OU hosts Texas in Norman, May 15-17.
The 2025 SEC Tournament takes place May 20-25 in Hoover, Ala.
The NCAA tournament begins with regionals the weekend of May 30 prior to the Super Regional round June 5-8 and the 2025 College World Series June 13-23 at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb.

The 2025 Sooners return 13 student-athletes from the 2024 team, including NCBWA All-American Easton Carmichael and All-Big 12 honorees Scott Mudler, Jaxon Willits and Kyson Witherspoon.
The Sooners won the Big 12 regular season title a season ago, finishing 40-21 overall. The 2024 season was highlighted by a conference-record six series sweeps and No. 9 seed in the NCAA tournament. OU hosted an NCAA regional in Norman for the first time since 2010 and won 40 games for the second time in three years.
