Celebrities have been pulling out all the stops for Halloween for as long as we can remember. Over-the-top costumes from Hollywood’s stars have become an expectation of the holiday at this point. And while we always love an overly dramatized moment, a little pun can go a long way, as proven by country music star Blake Shelton.
Or should we say—Shellton. In a video that his wife (and of course legendary singer) Gwen Stefani posted to TikTok, we see the country star in a head-to-toe turtle costume. Fans were quick to share how much they loved his fit.
“He looks like he’s just living his best life,” someone writes.
“Tort-ally awesome duuuuuuude,” another fan adds.
“I love this so much! That’s what it’s all about, living life, and having fun!”
Even more fans chimed in to say that they didn’t even recognize Blake: “I didn’t recognize him until he spoke 😂” and “The way i didnt even notice it was Blake Shelton til he spoke 😂”. We have to agree, in the head-to-toe costume, complete with glasses (he should’ve gone with tortoise shell!) and stubble, he barely resembles the award-winning country star and former coach of The Voice we’re used to seeing!
While Shelton’s costume was the star of the video, Stefani posted another TikTok of her own stunning transformation into Snow White. The duo’s epic costumes really made for an unforgettable Halloween for their friends, family, and followers.
