Antron Brown, the legendary racer and owner of AB Motorsports, earned his fourth NHRA Top Fuel World Championship on November 20.
Brandon Bernstein, Director of Partnership Marketing at Lucas Oil Products, praised Brown’s triumph.
“Lucas Oil has believed in Antron from the beginning, and we couldn’t be more proud and excited to celebrate this incredible achievement with him,” Bernstein told the crowd. “Antron exemplifies how enthusiasm and perseverance can pay off. We are pleased to support him as a championship driver, team owner, and friend. “We look forward to many more exciting races and championships together.”
As a Lucas Oil Products ambassador, Brown recently attended the ribbon-cutting event for the company’s new global headquarters in Indianapolis. The triumph is Brown’s first as a team owner.
Brown established AB Motorsports in 2022, with Lucas Oil as a founding partner. Since its start, Lucas Oil has provided financial and technical assistance to AB Motorsports, helping to establish Brown’s squad as a force in the NHRA.
In August, Brown told the Indianapolis Recorder how vital having a solid team is in racing.
“If you look at our team at AB Motorsports, it is very diverse,” says Brown. “It’s not diversified because we designed it that way. We recruited a varied staff with positive attitudes, strong character, and strong work ethic. It just happens to work out for them.”
