Coco Gauff, an American tennis player, recently revealed which music artists and albums she listened to the most this year. She used Apple Music Replay, which gives consumers an overview of the music they’ve listened to in the last year.
According to a post on Gauff’s social networking platform, the 2023 US Open tennis champion usually listens to songs by Beyoncé, Tyler the Creator, and Frank Ocean. Tyler the Creator famously mentioned Gauff in his song “Thought I Was Dead,” which was released in October as part of his studio album “Chromakopia.”
Guaff, the world’s third-ranked women’s tennis player, deflected criticism following her Apple Music Replay announcement. “Why is everyone an Apple Music hater???” the 20-year-old said in a post on X on Thursday.
The service provides a list of top songs and performers. It also estimates the amount of minutes and other details. Spotify does have a comparable service called Wrapped.
Gauff went on to enumerate some of the advantages of Apple’s audio and video streaming service before implying that Spotify subscribers are unhappy with the competitor.
“We get to view our top albums and genres, experience spatial audio, and receive a monthly replay report in addition to the annual one. Gauff stated that he enjoys Spotify, but his fan following dislikes Apple Music. He added, “You would think I killed their dog Chili.”
Last month, Gauff defeated Zhen Qinwen to win the Women’s Tennis Association Finals.
