Learn more about her 14-year-old husband, Dean Brown, and their gorgeous daughter, Charlotte.
Laura’s husband of fourteen years
Laura and her husband Dean have been married for more than 14 years. The couple, who met while studying at the University of Reading, married on August 13, 2010.
Laura opened up about their early affair to The Mirror in 2015, saying, “The thing about Dean was he didn’t become too intense, send me loads of flowers, and he didn’t love me more than anything on Earth.”
Our connection evolved, and after six months, we fell in love. When my friends pointed out that we had been dating for two months and I hadn’t dumped him, I said, ‘Oh yes!’ It was not scary, and I knew it was meant to be. 14 years later, we’re still going.
Laura’s ‘amazing’ daughter, Charlotte
Charlotte Blossom Eva was born 27 weeks preterm in July 2017. She weighed only 2lb 8oz and spent 83 days in the hospital.

Laura told HELLO! about Charlotte’s birth last year, saying, “They give you an injection to try and inflate the baby’s lungs.” I had a C-section, and the excellent anaesthetist asked if I wanted to listen to music. “I had some Bon Jovi playing… then she was born!”
She recalled how small her baby was at the time, saying, “My husband’s wedding ring could fit on her wrist.”
Laura and Dean welcomed Charlotte into the world over seven years ago, and the meteorologist couldn’t be happier with her daughter.
On Mother’s Day in March, the weather presenter complimented her “inspiring” daughter and declared herself “so proud” to be her mother.
Laura posted a nice note alongside a series of photos of herself and Charlotte. “I’m so happy and honoured to be Charlotte’s Mummy. “Not just on Mother’s Day, but every day,” she said.

She has already revolutionised the world with the first-ever collection of premature baby cards. After being born so early, she has demonstrated more strength and resolve in 6 years than I have in 42! She is inspirational, beautiful, and witty (she gets it from me!). What a fantastic day to spend all day in a onesie, eating chocolate, and crafting!”
Laura told HELLO! in 2020 that her aim for Charlotte’s future is for her little child to honour people who supported her as a newborn.
Laura told us, “I really want her to change the world.” “I know that sounds extreme, but I always thought that if I had a daughter, I would want her to be formidable, empowering and break boundaries.”
She clarified: “I guess my dream is that she’ll become a paediatric neonatal consultant and give back to all the people who helped her.”
