Micah Parsons is not a fan of the current transfer portal structure in college football. He was asked if he was offered $5 million and a Lamborghini in the portal if he would take it:
“Nah, bro. I’m built off love and loyalty.”

Micah Parsons is usually a fantastic interview subject, and this week, the Dallas Cowboys linebacker provided some memorable quips. He fired an expletive-laden shot at the Philadelphia Eagles, which is usually a positive, and questioned his future in Dallas.
Parsons, whose contract has become a heated subject as his fourth season comes to an end, claims he does not have to be the highest-paid defender in the league. Instead, he stated that he is focused on team success and seeks out talented teammates.
That’s good news because Jerry Jones has gotten more frugal recently, which is cause for concern even though he continues to maintain Parsons will stay with the team indefinitely.

In addition to his comments about his compensation, Parsons discussed the NCAA transfer portal, indicating that he is not going anywhere. The former Penn State standout stated that he is not a fan of the current rules and would not have left his program even for “$5 million and a Lamborghini.” He later remarked that he was “built off love and loyalty.”
We can only hope Jones does not use this as an opportunity to put pressure on Parsons, like he did with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.
Instead, this should facilitate an open communication between the two parties in order for them to reach a fair agreement that keeps Parsons in town while allowing the Cowboys to continue surrounding him with talented players.

That’s how it would be in a perfect world. However, with Jones in charge, we must remain prepared for everything.
