TUSCALOOSA, Alabama (AP) As Donald Trump railed against immigrants in the Rust Belt on Saturday afternoon, his followers in the Deep South used his previous remarks as a rallying cry for a college football game as they prepared for the former president’s visit later that evening.“You gotta get these people back where they came from,” Trump said in Wisconsin, as the Republican presidential nominee focused on Springfield, Ohio, which has been roiled by false claims about Haitian immigrants stealing and “eating the dogs… eating the cats” from neighbors’ homes.
“You have no choice,” Trump added. “You’ll lose your culture. “You are going to lose your country.” Many University of Alabama fans anticipate Trump’s arrival to their campus for the game between the No. 4 Crimson Tide and the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs featured stickers and buttons that said, “They’re eating the Dawgs!”.

He is many things, but weak is not one of them. He’s an optimistic man; he just makes you feel that if he’s in control, everything will be fine.” He stated the inspiration for the placard came from a meme he gave to his wife.
“I thought it was funny,” he explained. Katie Yates, 47, of Hoover, Alabama, had the same experience with her life-size cutout of the former president. She was stopped several times on her route to her family’s regular tent.
Trump’s likeness was scheduled to join Elvis, “There’s always an Alabama fan at our tailgate,” Yates explained. “I’m such a Trump fan,” she remarked, adding that she couldn’t understand why not everyone in America was.
