Angel Reese, the Chicago Sky’s standout forward, appears to be enjoying the NFL season in an unusual way, which has fans scratching their heads. Just last week, Reese was photographed in Baltimore, cheering on the Ravens as they defeated the Buffalo Bills 35-10.Her presence on the sidelines, dressed in Ravens garb, led many to believe she was celebrating her hometown origins.
Today, however, she appeared in a completely unexpected location: Soldier Field in Chicago. She was wearing a Bears uniform prior of their game versus the Carolina Panthers.
So, what’s happening? She was a Ravens fan one week and is now wearing Bears colors. Is Reese on some sort of NFL fashion tour? That is certainly what social media believed.
A Bleacher Report story even suggested she might be taking a “tour” of the league, rooting for various teams each week. But may there be another motive behind her NFL appearances?
However, Reese was quick to clarify the situation. In reaction to the Bleacher Report story, she stated, “I’m from Baltimore but I live in Chicago, so this ain’t no tour, sorry!”
Apparently, her allegiances aren’t as erratic as some may believe; it’s simply a matter of supporting both her heritage and her current city.
Many sportsmen, including Reese, express support for local teams on a regular basis. It makes sense for her to support the teams she lives and plays for, even if it confuses some fans.
In fact, her sideline appearances appear to be bringing good luck, as Chicago defeated Carolina 36-10.
It appears that Reese is the NFL’s newest good luck charm, and if her present run continues, she may be welcomed at additional games across the league. Who wouldn’t want Angel Reese to bring some winning vibes to their sideline?
