Our queen, Stana Katic, is back on our screens. Every Absentia fan out there is sure to rejoice! It’s time to delve into a new episode of Murder in a Small Town.
The promo for this episode almost seems to give the murder away. It’s not possible that that’s the case, right? I mean, why give away the ending? Sure, a lot of TV shows and movies give everything away in the trailers, but that’s not usually the case for a crime drama.
Keep in mind that the episode is moving timeslots this week. It will air in the 9/8c timeslot on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
What to expect in Murder in a Small Town Episode 3
The third episode of the series sees Stana Katic star as Zoe Strachan, a resident of Gibson. When she is confronted by her estranged brother Benjamin over some financial trouble, it seems like she ends up worried about him. However, then his body turns up. At least, there’s a body that matches Benjamin’s description, and Zoe seems to confirm it.
Alberg needs to get to the bottom of the murder. There was some sort of struggle, and when Zoe has defensive marks on her arms, it looks like she may have been involved.
It’s not just about the murder, though. Benjamin’s son has gone missing. Is it possible that Zoe has taken her nephew? Is she planning on doing some harm?
I’m still stuck on the synopsis where it says “matches Benjamin’s description.” What are the chances that this isn’t actually Benjamin’s body? What if he and Zoe are into something to help deal with the financial trouble that he’s in? Now that seems like a major mystery to solve, preventing the trailer from looking exactly as it does!
