Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, may have accidently let something go.
During his weekly visit on “The Pat McAfee Show,” he was asked about The Athletic’s article claiming the club was in “disarray.”
“I would argue the culture is the polar opposite of what the article stated. I didn’t read the story, but the headline suggests it was written by Haason Reddick’s agent. Former agent, maybe. “In an attempt to disparage our great organisation,” Rodgers stated.

“There is complete disarray over there. Take a look at how they handled Aaron Rodgers. Has one player wielded more power than him? He skipped minicamp. They’ve been unable to turn him into a team player. On August 29, NFL representatives informed Ben Standig of The Athletic, “The vibe inside the building is terrible.”
Social media explodes after Rodgers’ Reddick-Agent comments.
ESPN radio presenter Jake Asman said, “Sounds like Aaron Rodgers [let] it slip that Haason Reddick fired his agent… 😂.”

Will Parkinson, a Jets analyst, openly wondered on social media, “Did he break Reddick firing his agent???”
Reddick’s agent is Tory Dandy of CAA Football. If Reddick parted ways with Dandy, it would make headlines and may have both positive and negative consequences.
It’s unclear whether Reddick’s extended holdout was motivated by his agent or by his own desires. If it was his agent, and Reddick dismissed him, that may indicate that a team solution is on the way.
However, it might equally be interpreted the opposite way. If Reddick’s agent advised him to stop his standoff and report to the team, which is not what he wants, he could have simply elected to move on. That would most certainly cause Reddick to dig his heels in deeper.
Outside of Rodgers’ comments on an ESPN national sports television show, it is unclear whether Reddick has parted ways with his agency.
Update on Reddick’s Lost Money So Far Reddick has struggled throughout his little time with the Jets this offseason.
The deal between the Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles was completed at the end of March. On April 1, Reddick reported to the team facilities, underwent a physical, and conducted his first press conference with the local media.
Since then, Reddick has not participated in any Jets-related team activities. ESPN’s Rich Cimini reported that Reddick “has now forfeited nearly $2.4 million in-game checks, plus another $4.5 million in NFL-mandated fines and another $1.4 million in discretionary fines.”
Overall, Reddick has lost $8.3 million throughout the first three weeks of the season. He was supposed to earn $14.25 million before deducting any losses or penalty.

Many experts pointed to the mini-bye between the Week 3 New England Patriots game and the Week 4 Denver Broncos game as an opportunity for the Jets and Reddick to work things out.
Cimini stated that if nothing is done at that time, “there’s a feeling that it could last well into the season.” That would increase rumours of a move before the November 5 deadline. The Jets have vowed they will not trade him. “A lot can happen between now and then.”
