One of the most pressing issues for the Oregon Ducks this offseason is at offensive tackle, with one or two starting places to replace when the 2024 season ends.
Dan Lanning and his team are also working hard to satisfy that need with a top talent. According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, former Nevada Wolfpack offensive tackle Isaiah World has the Ducks as one of his final three schools to consider, along with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Texas A&M Aggies.
World is the portal’s top-ranked offensive tackle and 20th overall athlete. World, who stands 6-foot-8 and weighs 320 pounds, has previously played left tackle for the Wolfpack.
Should he commit to the Ducks, it will be interesting to see which side of the line he plays on. Right tackle Ajani Cornelius will graduate this year, while left tackle Josh Conerly Jr. is expected to declare for the NFL Draft following a great season in which he was selected an Associated Press third-team All-American.
The Ducks intend to bring World to Eugene in the coming days for a visit and to finalise his recruitment.
