Meet Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi’s Two Children: Learn About Son Jaden and Daughter Jaz

While Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf had a lot in common before their marriage in 2001, their children have given them even more to share.

The famous tennis couple’s first child, son Jaden Gil Agassi, was born in October 2001. Two years later, in October 2003, Steffi gave birth to Jaz Elle Agassi, their daughter.

Andre recalls in his autobiography Open that his own father was quite rigorous and wanted him to become a professional athlete. “My father yells everything twice, sometimes three times, sometimes 10,” he stated in an email.

“He says, ‘Harder. Hit early. Damn it, Andre, hit earlier. Crowd the ball. When it came time to raise their own children, Andre and Steffi took a different approach: “We never really incorporated tennis into their life.

“They’ve chosen other things,” Steffi explained. In a 2024 interview with USA Today, Andre was strong on one of his parenting stances.

“The idea that a parent would attach a child’s right to be loved in this world based on their performance is a tragedy,” He elaborated. “What somebody needs to do to be pro at 16 years old is crazy, right?”

On October 26, 2001, Andre and Steffi welcomed their older child, son Jaden Gil Agassi.

Jaden was born and reared in Las Vegas, away from the spotlight but always close to his parents. In a 2024 interview with WSJ Magazine, Andre said that his treasured possession is a beaded necklace crafted for him by Jaden.

“When he was four, he asked me for aid. [He said] ‘I want to make this, write, ‘Daddy rocks.’ “I’ve never taken it off, but it broke and is being fixed,” he claimed.

According to his father, Jaden gradually discovered that his mother and father were famous during his childhood.

Andre told folks in 2024, “You go through a whole phase of them saying, ‘Well, this makes no sense that the people are coming up as if there’s a big deal.'”

And then they start to understand why it’s such a big deal.
