Angel Reese sends six tweets that sum up the excitement of the thrilling LSU Tigers vs. Ole Miss game.

Angel Reese, a WNBA standout, joyously cheered on her college team, the LSU Tigers, as they won a thrilling overtime victory over the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday. The Chicago Sky youngster expressed her enthusiasm for the game on X (previously Twitter).

Garrett Nussmeier connected with Kyren Lacy down the right sideline for a 25-yard touchdown on LSU’s first overtime play, propelling the No. 13 Tigers to a thrilling 29-23 victory over No. 9 Ole Miss.

Angel Reese documented her emotions to the game in six tweets, covering everything from the beginning until the overtime victory.

Nussmeier passed for 337 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions on 22 of 51 attempts. Lacy, who scored the game-winning touchdown, had five catches for 111 yards.

Reese made an immediate impression as a freshman at LSU, averaging 23.0 points and 15.4 rebounds per game and racking up double-doubles. In her final season at LSU, she averaged 18.6 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.

Reese’s influence on LSU basketball was well recognized, and she received numerous prizes and honors.

She was voted SEC Player of the Year in 2024 and garnered multiple All-America honors, including nomination to the Wooden Award All-America Team and the AP Second Team All-America.

After a standout career at LSU, Angel Reese turned professional after being selected eighth in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. She finished as the runner-up for Rookie of the Year, averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
