The much-anticipated new season of the hit Prime Video documentary, Clarkson’s Farm, isn’t set to be released until May this year. However, Jeremy Clarkson has given fans a sneak peek into what they might expect from the fourth season.
The ex-Top Gear presenter, renowned for his car reviews alongside co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond, has shifted gears to focus on his passion for farming. Since purchasing a farm near Chipping Norton in 2008, now known as Diddly Squat Farm, the 64-year-old has emerged as a prominent figure in UK farming.
He subsequently launched Clarkson’s Farm, a documentary series that provides an insight into daily life on the farm. Since its debut on Prime Video in 2021, Clarkson’s Farm has rapidly gained a loyal fanbase, with viewers praising the show for highlighting the ups and downs of UK farming life.
The third season, which aired in May 2024, was hailed as “the funniest, most heartbreaking season yet”, chronicling the team’s foray into mushroom cultivation and their emotional journey dealing with the loss of a beloved pig. As fans eagerly anticipate the release of the fourth season in May 2025, speculation is rife about what it might involve.
Jeremy himself has now dropped a significant clue about potential content with a post on social media site X. On January 16, he stated: “Farmers. Contrary to reports, I did NOT buy a Deutz Fahr tractor at LAMMA. I came away with a better idea”, reports the Mirror.

Responding to a fan’s suggestion on Twitter, Jeremy hinted at new content for fans. “Isn’t it time you started testing and reviewing tractors as well as cars…. Good idea?” one user queried, to which Clarkson teased: “See season 4.”
Jeremy had a rollercoaster of a year with both triumphs and tribulations, such as taking over The Farmer’s Dog pub in Asthall in August, then facing a health scare in October.

The fourth instalment of Clarkson’s Farm is expected to delve into the hurdles encountered at his Oxfordshire establishment, from petty theft of pint glasses to challenges in refurbishing its amenities.
Additionally, it may reveal his personal health struggles after undergoing a two-hour heart surgery to fit a stent, an event that led him to reassess his diet and lifestyle. Close to a brush with mortality, Jeremy reflected on the episode, realising he narrowly escaped more serious consequences.
Although there’s no precise date, Clarkson has announced that the eagerly anticipated season 4 will premiere in May 2025.
