Taylor Swift has responded to the viral breakup “contract” with boyfriend Travis Kelce. The contract circulated on social media before Kelce’s team was able to put a firm halt to the supposed arrangements he and Swift made if they ended their relationship.
According to the Daily Mail, the bogus break-up “contract” said that Kelce would release a statement following the breakup saying he was focused on his “personal growth” and would continue his “commitment to his career and his ongoing achievements in the sports industry.”
While Kelce’s team promptly denied the rumours, Life & Style Magazine reports that it has shook Kelce and Swift more than they anticipated, triggering Swift’s response.
The 13-time Grammy winner has not issued a statement regarding the incident, but a source told Life & Style that she is experiencing a paradigm shift.
“When they initially started dating, she was more concerned with the timing of everything—when they’d have their first public date, their first public kiss, and what their PR messaging would be. That is her style. According to the source, Swift has always micromanaged her appearance, but she is suddenly changing her ideas and becoming more relaxed.
“Taylor’s really making a conscious effort to go with the flow a lot more now and let her hair down,” a source said, adding that “at this point, she just wants to remove the shackles and let people judge them based on what comes naturally. You can notice the difference just by what she wore to the game.”
The source then mentioned Swift’s preview of the 2024 season and how she felt more like herself and wasn’t dressing to impress (which she slayed anyway).
The “So High School” singer donned denim-on-denim to the season’s first game. She styled a denim corset top with denim cutoffs and red knee-high leather boots. She swept her fringe to one side and concluded with her usual bright red lip.

“In the past, she felt like she had to dress like the perfect NFL girlfriend, and to her, that meant head-to-toe team gear,” according to a source. “This time, she dressed in whatever made her feel sexy. She did not wear fan gear or team colours.”
However, Swift and Kelce are not going to be swayed by the rumours because they are in it for the long term.
“Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,” a source told US Weekly on Wednesday (September 18).
“Taylor is prepared for the next phase of her life. She knows it will be unique.”
